Weatherwave’s market entry strategy is built around disciplined, phased growth. Our earliest opportunities come from government customers with urgent needs: NOAA and the National Reconnaissance Office require rapid-cadence weather and environmental intelligence, while NASA and DARPA fund advanced sensing, autonomy, and technology development.
These early partnerships provide both non-dilutive capital and technical validation. As Flocks begin flying, Weatherwave immediately gains access to commercial demand across agriculture, insurance, supply-chain risk, and energy sectors. These markets already rely on satellite data, but lack the revisit rates and fused-sensor insight our architecture uniquely provides.

A Track Record of Transformational Impact
Weatherwave was founded by Jason Derleth, MIT graduate with over 20 years of experience at NASA. His work shaped mission designs, technology development planning, the Agency's structure, and national space policy. About half of Jason's career was spent leading the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) program as Program Manager and Program Executive.
